Memorial Day Weekend Fun, and a little birthday-ing thrown in

My Memorial Day weekend was a ton of fun, as you will see from my photos below! Here I am with Uncle Josh as he does my hair! He is very talented at making it stand up straight...
Here we are just hanging out after dinner with a slice of my first of several birthday cakes... before my hair got out of control!
It was also a VERY special weekend because I got to spend time with my favorite Belgian Aunt and Uncle! It was so fun to see Fabi et Luc and to spend time with them near my birthday... I miss them already. I have to go visit them soon...
Last, here is a shot of me getting my first taste of an oreo cookie! Gammy and Gampy got me an Oreo Icecream cake... YUMMY!

Time with my Great Mom-Mom

I thought I would spend a little time writing about my wonderful Great Mom-mom. Also known as Mom-mom-mom! She will be 91 this month (and most of you know that I will be 1 next week on Tuesday). Here, we are hanging out in her favorite chair.

Then, I was crawling and scooching all over the place. Mom-mom-mom put some money in my back pocket as great mom-moms are so great at doing... Here she is putting the money in my pocket.

And, here I am crawling all over the house with money in my back pocket! We love Great Mom-mom!!!

And the saga of our adventurous hero continues...

Last we saw Indiana Jo(seph), he was walking with the assistance of his trusty sidekicks, Mommy, Daddy, and the little red push cart. But, on Tuesday, May 20th, around 9AM our hero embarked on the exciting path of 2 steps UNASSISTED! While sidekick mommy stood and watched from the kitchen sink, our hero let go of the kitchen cabinets and swaggered 2 whole steps to the open dishwasher (known to most archaeologists as Great Mouth of shiny and breakable treasures). With some trepidation and curious enthusiasm, Indiana has been marching forward in 2 to 3 steps!

Tune in next time for the continued escapades of Indiana Jo(seph)!!!

PS: The "Indy" hat stays on with NO PROBLEMS!
PSS: Sidekicks Mommy & Daddy are trying to capture these movements on film but our hero is very quick to revert to the tried and true form of motion... the speedy crawl.

Uncle Josh's Wedding

Hey guys!!!

Here are a couple more fun shots for you guys! This is one of my FAVORITE pictures! Mommy, daddy, Aunt Katie (yay), and Uncle Josh all look great. Sadly, I was looking at Gampy so I was not really paying attention to the camera!

By the way, this is the proof that Uncle Josh really is 6'8". As you can see, mommy is wearing about 4 inch heels and she is about 5'5"... so you do the math!

Isn't Aunt Katie a BEAUTIFUL BRIDE! YAY for my new Aunt Katie!
And here is another shot of the happy couple at the reception!

And one last shot of me, mommy, and gammy dancing the night away!!
Love it!!!

The Hat Wars Continue

Mommy tried to get a shot of me actually wearing the hat. But, heh heh, she was alone and I was FASTER! So, here is me winning the duel and pulling the hat off before she even has time to get the camera ready! Nice try mommy!

And, as you can see, I was not deterred from walking my little cart up the hill. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, I walk my little cart up the hill ALL BY MYSELF! And, I am very good at it. I rarely fall and usually only stop...

To look back and make sure my hat is back there on the ground right where I left it! I just do not like that hat!

Mommy will post more pictures of our time at Uncle Josh's wedding later in the week once she gets them organized... at least that is what she told me before I went to bed!

Greto Family Updates

Hi dear ones,

I am sorry I have not written in awhile. Mommy has some -- well, lots -- of pictures to load up for you to see. But, we have been very busy and traveling a lot. I hope to remind her to post the pics some time tomorrow!

Love,

Me and my hat...

Well, Auntie A has a legitimate request. However, as much as mommy and daddy tried to put the hat on me and keep it on just long enough to get a picture... I was FASTER! HAAA HAAA! And, I was able to get that silly hat off as fast as they could get it on. They even went so far as to try and get one with some sort of ties! Well, I showed them! While we were in the store I displayed my incredible speed at ripping it off... so, I have now challenged mommy to a photo-hat-wearing duel! We shall see if the next blog posting actually has me in said hat... here is a picture of what it looks like on a child that has clearly been PAID to wear these silly things: http://store.babycenter.com/product/code/18146.do?scid=SSE:GOO&ci_src=14110944&ci_sku=219104

So... keep watching the blog to see who will win the baby sun hat DUEL!

Glendale Here We Come

Hi everyone! We went to AZ last week to visit friends and to see Thunderbird. It was an incredible trip and I did really well on the 5 and half hour flight out there. I was really impressed with how green and spacious everything is in the AZ area! I mean, there are no really big buildings and, well, its kind of flat in the city, but when you look out, all around you are these incredible mountains. It's really lovely. Check it out:

Mommy said it was a lot greener than she thought it would be and daddy said that Uncle Linc thought that by the time we get moved in things will be pretty brown in the summer. Oh well, it was nice and sunny. Daddy and mommy kept putting this silly hat on me and that is not cool! But, I better get used to it since Hot Summer AZ here we come!

In my mind I'm going to Carolina

Many thanks to our wonderful friends down in NC! We had a great time on the way to Charlotte visiting with our friends, the Kellys and their two fun kitties! I tried to catch them but, well, kitties are faster than me.

Then, in Charlotte, we visited with Mommy's two great friends. I got to swing in Aunt Katie's so fun backyard!!!

And, I have a new girlfriend. Her name is Caroline and she is Aunt Janet's little girl. We had a great time and I was very thankful that she shared her toys with me so well. And, would hold my hand when we rode in the car together.

I was also able to spend some time with my great buddies, Luke and Mattie! We had so much fun! I really loved watching them walk!!! I think I might try it soon myself. But, we really had the most fun playing in the bath with NO water. And, Mattie is my blond girlfriend but don't tell Caroline.
