The Greto Name Lives On...

Today, Baby G is 20 weeks old! It's hard to believe but we are halfway there! A couple days ago we learned the exciting news that we no longer have to call Baby G Baby G (or Mini G - though we probably still will) because... IT'S A BOY!

According to the technician and the Doctor, there is "no question" of his manhood! We saw it! But, so as not to embarass the little guy, we will just share a couple of shots with you for now. The first one is of his little face -- he was moving quite a lot so this was a great shot to get...

He likes to wave...

and kick...

and one more farewell wave.

Until next time...
Love,
Mike, Meg & Mini G

First baby picture!

Yesterday we had our 2nd prenatal visit. We get pretty excited about these b/c we know the Doc is going to bring out the little heartbeat monitor. (I have to get one of those for the house!) Indeed, Dr. Porter brought it out and we heard Mini G's thump thump thump. Unexpectedly, the doc then said, let's go take some pictures. We weren't expecting a sonogram until about week 18 (we're 14 weeks in now). We skipped down the hall to the magic baby picture room and within seconds saw the first glimpse of Mini G. He/she's the size of a small fist this week but nevertheless you can see the head, stomach and both arms! In fact, Baby G was quite active in there, waving around as the Doc passed the magic baby wand over Meg's belly.

Pretty amazing! Here's the pic with some helpful diagrams. Enjoy!

Mom is feeling great and has had a very smooth first trimester. We're very thankful for that.

We love you all. Stay tuned for more postings...
