Peak weekend?

Mommy & Daddy took me to this place called the Tidal Basin this weekend. Something about Japan and some rhyming words about peak weekend or weak peakened or something like that. It was cool.

I look quite comfortable here...

Some people may wonder what a 9 month old does on a Saturday. Well, I was very busy last Saturday. Mommy dressed me all up in my nice outfit from Miss Suzy for Jocie's Christening and luncheon. Daddy thought it would be a good idea to play some music before we headed out. So, there I sat looking really quite at home, don't I? I was reading this piece...

Here, I realized mommy had the camera

One last image of the sun shining in on me. Don't I look angelic?

Coffee is not just for grown-ups!

All of you folks out there that love the stuff that my parents grind and brew daily, will appreciate my small tribute to coffee. It might be in a bit of a round-about way... Here is my tribute to our coffee table. I love our coffee table! It is so cool. Mommy and Daddy say that one of the reason they picked this set out years ago was because they thought it would be great for kids -- and they are RiGHT! I should know, I am their first, and best, and well who wants to think about there being any others right now anyway...

Back to my coffee table... Here I am crawling in it!

It is where I keep all of my special treasures... like my awesome Robeez! I love these shoes and I especially love them INSIDE MY COFFEE TABLE. See, mommy and daddy say that coffee starts their day off right and well, coffee with my table is just right for me too.

And, well, when I am not in my coffee table, I love to jam away on my fun music table... I guess I am just really into tables these days!

See you next time!

Congratulations Daddy!

I love this balloon! Mommy bought it for daddy because he got some really great news -- something about the top two IMBA programs in the US -- I'm not sure about all of that but I love this balloon. It SINGS! It sings a really fun song and I like to dance to it -- Celebrate good times, Come on!

The balloon is almost twice as big as me:

This is also one of my favorite outfits, its my favorite color and, well, mommy puts it on me a lot. And, you cannot tell from this picture but I have been working on my crazy balance skills! Today I stood next to the table, holding on, then let go and stood for a good 4 seconds before I sat down. Now, guys, c'mon, give me some props! This is HUGE people! Aunt Kristen was sooo impressed that I had to dance for her too!

You talkin' to me???

Yes, that's a pasta pinky ring...and I put it on all by myself. We don't do Gerber around here.

Does that amuse you? Make you laugh?

That's right, nothing goes better with pasta ringlets than a nice bottle of Pinot Grigio...with a pear finish.

I am 8 months old TODAY!

This weekend I had a lot of fun! In addition to turning 8 months old, my buddies Hans Owen and Ellie came over to play and we had a lot of fun. See... here we are hanging out.

Ellie was checking us out. She wanted to get in with us but it was a BOYS ONLY playtime!

Working in the sun and fun of Florida

Gammy and Gampy had asked if daddy could drive a bobcat. I have no idea what a bobcat is but working outside is the best and I have missed being outside in the sun. Pass the SPF 50...

I was also able to work on my wrenching skills!

Me and my Cousin, Ryan. Finally we meet...

I was so excited to meet my cousin, Ryan. I had heard a lot about him and I already wear a lot of his cloths! He was born in April 2006. And, his mommy and my mommy are about the same age apart as me and Ryan, pretty cool, huh? I think so! He lives out where there are lots of cool things like horses and cows and doggies and orange trees in FL where Gammy, Gampy and Uncle Josh live and I LOVE IT down there...

We enjoyed opening his Birthday present together. He got the same fun tool set that I did from Gammy! It is so fun and we had matching hats to wear. Don't we look like cousins?!? Check out our baby blues and our matching orange hats!

He is such a helpful little guy too, he helped me keep my hat on!

He got a cool rocking horse too, and we were able to play on it together. My gammy keeps talking about a pony for us to share and I think this rocking horse is a ton of fun so why not have a real pony... what ever is a pony anyway...

The warden threw a party in the county jail.

The prison band was there and they began to wail... Elvis's Jailhouse Rock

Ok, I was not really in jail at all. I was visiting Gammy and Gampy and they have these three huge horse-doggies. To keep some boundaries, mommy used the doggy gates for me and the doggies. I LOVED IT!!!!

See, I can even stand up! It's my greatest, newest trick. I really love to pull myself up.

I cannot wait until I can figure out how to run! The doggies will have a great friend in me when I can run because they love to run and jump and play. But they are still a bit too big for me... someday soon, though, I will be running with them!

One singular sensation every little step he takes...

One thrilling combination
Every move that he makes.

One smile and suddenly nobody else will do;
You know you'll never be lonely with you know who.
One moment in his presence
And you can forget the rest.

For the guy is second best
To none,
Son.
Ooooh! Sigh! Give him your attention.
Do...I...really have to mention?
He's the One?
